The Argus Group is the leading and most respected insurer in Bermuda with overseas businesses in Malta and Gibraltar.
Argus came to us with a brand in disarray. They knew something had to be done but didn't have the tools or expertise to take the next step. DSC brought over 20 years of small island domestic communications experience to the table along with brand insight that considered the unique challenges of their multi-cultural audience. We stepped back on the brand knowing that the internal audience had had enough. Change and true transformation can only happen if your internal audience believes. We created a brand strategy that accommodated a 4 year plan to reestablish the Argus brand internally and externally. We also built into the strategy the long term vision of the executive to make Argus a competitive global player in the insurance and financial services business.
We developed a strong brand and positioning strategy based on a new and updated identity. Through research and a modified "lean" approach we implemented programs effectively and quickly to take advantage of the momentum we were creating. This was aligned with changes in the executive and management operating structure. We established, along with Argus, a digital transformation strategy that created a new digital sales channel, bringing the three international jurisdictions closer together. Part of the process was to assist the communications department grow and develop the skills needed to help drive the ongoing strategy forward. Our 23 years of studio and design experience meant we could guide and create the foundation for a self-sustained marketing and creative department that relied less on expatriate expertise and more on island resources. This included studio structure and operations, document handling, and artwork approvals and oversight.
